He did an excellent job and my recovery has progressed nicely. He was the only physician in his office recommended for elbow surgery and now I know why. He is a sensitive, caring and knowledgeable physician and I could not recommend him more highly! |

Am still healing but the surgery has been more successful than therapy. Dr. Vella is caring, thoughtful and very understanding, would recommend hom to anyone. |

He explained everything well and I felt comfortable. He was not quick to recommend surgery like another Hand surgeon I saw. Very competent. |

I went for follow up. The day of procedure I called after I got home
because of all the swelling (golfball size) and no one called back until
the next day - and the nurse that called didnt even know I had the procedure
done - kept telling me I needed to come in to have it done. At follow up
Dr Vella insulted me - I am in worse shape now - have appointment with
a different hand surgeon this week but I now have more than just the cyst
to remove - since his asperation my fingers have seperated and wont close.
Dont go to this doctor I think the good ratings must be him because he IS
NOT A COMPETENT DOCTOR!! |
| 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | I was in a motorcycle accident back in 2007 and smashed my left ring finger badly. He had to do a partial amputation. He was very kind and understanding of my stress over the matter. Surgery went perfectly. I had a bad reaction to the medication. The reation I had was very abnormal it happens rarly to anyone seemed to be a mystery. Dr. Vella was by my side working with other doctors to find out what was going on with me. He was very concerned for my well being. I wouldn´ t have wanted any other Dr. in this case. If I ever need another hand surgeon I would´ t trust anyone but him. He´ s a great Doctor.
