My son died of pills taken from this Dr. Pills are way overprescribed. Now my grandson must grow up without a father and a grandfather who both overdosed with pills from this Dr.

GREAT Doctor. Really cares about his patients. He is not a drug pusher. All patients must have extensive medical records to be seen there, and he makes sure he prescribes appropriatly.

Great doctor. This is for the crazy person below. As a patient at this clinic, you have to sign a contract that you will not abuse your medication. The fact that your son abused the medication is your son´ s fault not the doctor´ s. It is like any other product, if you do not use it appropriately, then harm can result. Enough is enough with these people who try to blame the doctor when they should blame the party who is abusing and doctor shopping by visiting multiple clinics and getting multiple prescriptions.

I agree with the person above. I am tired of all these people blaming the doctor for their misuse of medication. I have visited this doctor and he is very thorough. If a patient is not following instructions and is mixing drugs, that is the patient´ s fault. This clinic does random drug testing. So, I agree that people need to stop blaming everyone else and blame themselves for abusing drugs. You can OD on aspirin if you take too much. I like this doctor and his attention to detail.

I can see the above lady is in denial. I agree this is an awesome doctor. Drug abuse is not the doctor´ s fault. People abuse everything from paint. I had a great visit, very complete, I asked a lot of questions.

SO LADY IF YOUR SON DIED, THAT WAS HIS OWN DOING. WAKE THE HELL UP AND PAY ATTENTION. THE DR. CAN´ T TAKE YOUR SONS HAND FOLLOW HIS HOME AND MAKE SURE HE DOESN´ T GO OVER THE LIMIT JUST TO GET HIGH. I was a patient of this Dr. for several years. After I got off pain pills and my head was clear I thought back on how this Dr. treated me. In all the years of treatment, only one time did the clinic ever take my weight. NEVER did they bother to take my vitals. I was on very large doses of roxcidone, oxcycontin, zanax and soma. When I ended up in the hospital due to withdrawls (my meds were lost and when I called the clinic, they said that they were sorry but they could not give me any replacement meds) the Doctor at morton plant said I was lucky that I didn´ t go into a coma or have seizures or even death.My heartrate was slowed due to the amount of zanax and soma. The doctor said I was taking to much medication for my weight. In the end, I lost one month of my life because I went into what is known as a drug induced psycosis state of mind. Thankfully it was only one month that I lost, NOT MY LIFE! Looking back I think they were more interested in writing prescriptions than the well being of their patient. It was very unethical for the doctor to refuse to help me knowing that someone could die if they abruptly stopped taking that much medicine." And I thought I was safe because I was under " DOCTORS CARE"

I suppose all of the desirable comments about this doctor come from patients that are very happy to get as many pills as they wish. It is a well known fact that this clinic and doctor are WIDELY known for giving patients what they ask for NOT for what is needed.

He does care about his patients. Drug abusers are who give him a bad name. He shouldn´ t have to worry about his patients taking too many pills. He is an amazing doctor. No one should ever blame him for an overdose. And if you lose your meds, there is a sign in the office that they will not replace them. It is your responsibility to keep them in a safe place. People that are actually in chronic pain, like myself, are the ones who knows how good of a doctor he really is.

I am the woman whose son died. My son was an addict and was NOT drug tested at the clinic. NEVER had vital signs taken. I called and spoke with the office manager after my son took 90 2mg tabs. in 1 week and told her he was an addict and to please not see him anymore. He went to the clinic a few days later and got prescriptions for methadone and oxycontin. He had been clean for 2 weeks after a long, hard detox. He had been there 1 week before and given the xanax and lortab prescriptions. He did not Dr. shop. I went with him on numerous visits and the Dr, made fun of him for bringing his Mom. He would tell the Dr. he didn´ t want certain prescriptions because he had " problems" with them. I´ m sure the Dr. knew what he was talking about. I suffer from chronic pain and my son wanted me to see this Dr. I knew there was a problem if the Dr. didn´ t accept insurance. I saw many sniveling addicts sitting in his office, then selling pills outside the pharmacy. So don´ t tell me how it was all my son´ s fault. He had a part in it yes, but he was given no instruction to start off at a low dose of the methadone and died the night he saw the Dr. All you addicts who want to keep getting your pills here better start looking elsewhere. He´ s under investigation and will also most likely be paying out a large sum to my grandson who lost a wonderful father in this mess.

YOU PEOPLE IN FLORIDA ARE STUPID. THIS DOCTOR PERSCRIBES OXYCODONE FOR THE RIGHT PRICE. THIS DRUG IS AN END OF LIFE DRUG. THAT MEANS YOU HAVE 6 MONTHS OR SO TO LIVE. THIS DOCTOR IS A DRUG DEALER.
