Doctor does not answer my questions and gets upset if I bring in outside articles to ask questions. Staff has mishandled insurance precertifications which have pushed back neccesary testing by several weeks. Was misdiagnosed with a sinus infection. After 5 visits to Dr. Kemkar I had to request a referral to a specialist after he told me " I don´ t know what to tell you." The Specialist was able to diagnose me in one visit and has scheduled neccessary testing. Dr. Kemkar is refusing to continue prescribing pain medications even though he is aware of the potential (very serious) diagnosis and that my test result will not be in for several weeks. In 4 years as a patient I have never requested pain meds, even after breaking my ankle in 2 places. Doctor had poor bedside manner and seems unconcerned with my well-being. Told me to seek pain management although no diagnosis has been officially mad. Waiting room overcrowded, noisy and dirty. WExam rooms double as storage areas with boxes stacked around exam tables. Avoid this practice. |
