| 1 | 5 | 1 | 5 | 1 | I visited Dr Rothstein for a shoulder and back pain that has been bothering me for over 6 months. After two very simple questions, she made a diagnosis: muscle spasms. She didnt ask on the specifics of the pain, or my medical history. I was astonished. Her recommendation: exercise seven days a week. As simple as that. When asked if my matress could be the cause, she said ´ sure, buy a new one´ . I then asked how to choose a good matress for my back, she said ´ go to sears, they have a lot, just ask the sales person´ . Amazing advice, asking the salesman if their products are good.
The final blow, to shatter whatever was left of her credibility, came when I asked what kind of exercise I should do. Her brilliant answer was: ´ go to a gym, there´ s all these machines and weights, its pretty self explanatory´ . Amazing.
Please, avoid this doctor at all costs. |
| 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | I went to a walk-in clinic, as I had persisting flu-like systems for several weeks (for which 2 rounds of antibiotics had not seemed to help), and my family doctor is not generally available without a lot of advance notice. Dr. Sheila Rothstein was rude and abrubt from the get-go, asking what my problem was. When I said it was a rather long story, she said, " make it quick, since you´ re a walk-in" ! What?! After my waiting for 1.5 hours, to be presented with the attitude like I was wasting HER time?
I advise staying away from this particular doctor!!! |
