Len Aldridge of Calgary, Alberta - Doctor Rating

He´ s a good doctor from a " skill" point of view but he is a real jerk. He´ s an old school doctor that doesn´ t know how to communicate that he cares about his patients. He gets grumpy and if you don´ t do what he says he won´ t care about you anymore. He actually told my mom that she couldn´ t be his patient anymore. Also it takes forever to get in to see him.

This man literally saved my life when I was born. I feel for the last patient who had neither the capacity nor the time to ask the proper questions and get the answers. Dr. Aldridge was my family doctor for 32 years and I am very sad that he has retired, for very selfish reasons, I might add. It only ever took 2-3 days to get in to his office and your appointments were usually very on time. He gave so much to his career and took in the people who would call with daily emergencies into his schedule. That may be why he seemed so distant. I found though that he really did care about all of his patients and we were not just numbers to him. If that were the case I wouldn´ t be here. Miss you. HM
