I never felt I could discuss my treatment, without him going into a frightening rage.
The last appointment I was telling him about the results from a test ordered by another physician not related to the condition he is treating me for. " that´ s ridculous it´ s obvious you have blah" . My response was " but it was very clear on the xray..." He instantly went into a rage " I don´ t care...if you don´ t want my expert opinion go somewhere else" . He threw some papers at me and stormed out of the examing room.
As far as warmth and friendliness, he reacted as I stated above, the next appointment he would be very friendly, speak as though he was a personal friend.
I believe if he dealt with his emotional issues he could be a good doctor. An ill person should not have to deal with this on top of being ill. |
